Profiles

Why are 5 insulating chambers better ?

Better thermic and phonic insulation
Premisess:
- larger width of the profile (75 mm comparing to 60 mm at the 3 chambers profiles)
- higher number of insulating chambers (5 comparing to 3)
- remarcable thermo-insulating characteristics of PVC
- possibility to set a thermo-insulating window with a thickness up to 33 mm

Effects:
- raising the number of thermic and phonic “barriers” which interpose on the direction of the thermic transfer ( from the inside to the outside - on winter and from the outside to the inside - on summer ) and the sound’s propagation
- obtaining a small value of thermic transfer ( k=1,3 W/mp*K comparing to k=1,7 W/mp*K at the 3 insulating chambers profiles )
- obtaining a better phonic insulation ( 45-55 db)

Better tightness
Premisess:
- higher rigidity of the profile
- geometry and elasticity of the gaskets
- possibility to set a third gasket
Effects:
- better tightness to air and water

High creep strength
Premises:
- increasing the number of the profiles’ interior walls
- possibility of setting a close iron care
Effects:
- higher creep strength
